Let’s Take the First Step Together
However you arrive is okay with me.
Book Your Free Consultation
The easiest way to begin is with a free 15-minute consultation. We’ll connect over secure video so you can ask questions, share a little about what’s bringing you here, and get a feel for whether we’re a good fit. No pressure, no commitment, and no art required.
In-person sessions are held at my studio in the coach house in Galt. Full directions and a parking note are provided when you book, so you know exactly where to go. I see clients Monday through Friday and Saturday mornings, in-person or virtual. If you need a different day or time, reach out and we’ll try to make something work.
General Inquiries
Prefer to send a message? Use the form below and I’ll get back to you. I do my best to respond to all inquiries within 48 hours, but usually sooner. If you haven’t heard from me within three days, please check your spam folder.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Nope. Art therapy is for people of all ages. I currently specialize in working with pre-teens, teens, and adults. If you’re outside that range, reach out anyway and we can talk about whether I might be a good fit for your needs and goals.
-
Nope. You are the expert on your own experience, and you decide what your art is expressing or helping you understand. Rather than telling you what your artwork means, I witness your process and help you explore it through gentle questions, curiosity, and conversation. Sometimes the meaning is clear right away; other times it unfolds over time.

If your insurance plan covers psychotherapy, you should be covered. Please check with your benefits provider to be sure. My credential is registered psychotherapist (qualifying).

Art therapy isn’t a quick fix. After our initial intake, it usually takes four to six sessions for us to get to know one another and understand what’s bringing you here. Like any meaningful change, it takes time, trust, and a little willingness to sit with the messy parts. We’ll move at a pace that feels supportive to you.

heARTfelt Studio Art Therapy is located on the beautiful lands that are part of the Haldimand Tract, which extends six miles on either side of the Grand River. These are the traditional lands of the Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe, and Chonnonton peoples. I am grateful to be able to create art, raise my family, and support the folx with whom I work on these lands.
